Borumar spent time and gold researching around town for info on the dragon. Discovered that about a century ago there was a black dragon that lived in the swamp for a couple of decades before she was killed, though her lair was never found.
The party decided to scout around in the swamp to see what they could see, stumbled upon some heartless, a giant tiger beetle, and an assortment of other swampy wildlife, and decided that they weren’t prepared for a lengthy stay in the swamp, and so returned to town.
