But I like the idea of Monster Mondays, Toxic Tuesdays (poisons), Weird Wednesdays, ect.. Pick a couple and run with it. Then the cool thing is after you collect a bunch of these you can put it out on a PDF for all us freeloaders.Gothridge Manorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11371740532802642972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8935997561931650289.post-68406298881837800222010-08-10T10:40:26.941-04:002010-08-10T10:40:26.941-04:00I like the idea, but I could never do it myself. The only way that manage regular posts is to write about what what concerns me at that very instant (and posts that I'm just putting the finishing touches on). I do try to vary my post topics, but not in any organized fashion.

In other words, what N. Wright said. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17635116929490398699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8935997561931650289.post-51725064760360347562010-08-10T10:18:24.257-04:002010-08-10T10:18:24.257-04:00I've always liked the idea, but it's not f...I've always liked the idea, but it's not for me. There's just something about "Ok, now I have to write about Monsters" or "Today's Tuesday, so I have to write about Treasures" that doesn't thrill me.

Then again, I'm not a big fan of self-imposed regimentation. It'd probably be good if you find yourself unable to create as regularly as you like, or if the abundance of good ideas means that you end up posting absolutely nothing.

I'd say, don't worry about writing about megadungeons for a week. If it's what you like writing about, then write about it. If people don't like it, then they don't have to read it, but you never know what people will like reading. My most popular posts haven't been what I thought they'd be at all, and had I pushed down the urge to write them in exchange for something "people will want to read," they never would have existed.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08596442998967851832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8935997561931650289.post-12719494163552916552010-08-10T08:52:27.815-04:002010-08-10T08:52:27.815-04:00Having structured posts is excellent for momentum....Having structured posts is excellent for momentum. I prevents the old uninspired blues where you drag your feet because you don't know what to blog about. great for discipline and takes away some stress as well.

I like to keep about half the week free and flexible, with the other half dedicated to specific features.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.com
